Oxymav B for Birds 100gm

Oxymav B is a multi-spectrum antibiotic treatment for birds. This powder formula is extensively used in the treatment of illnesses caused due to oxytetracycline-sensitive organisms in ornamental caged birds.

Oxymav B is useful against a range of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, including, richettsiae, chlamidia, Actinomycetes, mycoplasma, protozoa, including some larger viruses. The antibiotic formula effectively treats respiratory and other common bacterial conditions in caged birds.

Directions for Use:

Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) and bacterial enteritis:

  • Dissolve 5g (1 measure) Oxymav powder in 50ml water and use this as a single source of drinking water for treated bird.
  • Prepare the solution every time before administration.
  • Treat with Oxymavpowder for 3-5 days or as recommended by vet.
  • Ideally, a 50mL dissolved preparation can treat 2 large-sized birds (cockatoos, parrots) or 10 small-sized birds (budgerigars, or canaries)
